In this section we discuss all diseases, disorders and other dysfunctions where cannabinoids are reported to have therapeutic potential.

For some diseases there is substantial preclinical and clinical trial data to indicate therapeutic properties of cannabinoids where for other diseases the described therapeutic properties are purely anecdotal.

Here, we review the available scientific literature, judge its scientific value and break it down to patients and the general public in laymen’s terms.

In addition, we will indicate the cannabinoid receptors, endocannabinoids and plant cannabinoids that are associated with the disease process or potential therapy and list the cannabis strains that are best matched with the required cannabinoid profile.

The vast majority of citations on this website refer to PubMed (the US National Library of Medicine, NIH).
