Kv1.2 is a potassium channel that is responsible for maintaining resting membrane potential and regulating excitability in neurons. Kv1.2 is not a classic cannabinoid receptor but its activity is modulated by cannabinoids. Since cannabinoids have a physiological effect on Kv1.2 it is effectively a cannabinoid receptor.
