Pain

pain is a very good target for therapeutic cannabinoids.

TRPV1

TRPV1 is part of the transient receptor potential family and is one of the non-GPCR cannabinoid receptors. TRPV1 is involved in thermoregulation and pain detection (nociception).

Hemopressin

Hemopressin is a recently discovered endocannabinoid that acts as a CB1 inverse agonist (roughly meaning that it has the opposite action of THC at

PALDA

PALDA is an endocannabinoid with weak CB1 affinity.

STEARDA

STEARDA is an endocannabinoid with weak CB1 affinity.

OLDA

OLDA is an endocannabinoid that weakly binds CB1 and GPR119 but has high affinity for TRPV1.

NADA

Suspected endocannabinoid.

THCVA

THCVA binds to several receptor (of the TRP class) but its exact physiological function is still under investigation.

CBGV

CBGV interacts with several receptors and may have anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties but this is still under investigation.

CBGA

CBGA is a precursor for the production of THC but has some therapeutic, anti-inflammatory, value as well. Given the number of receptor interactions CBGA is likely to have more therapeutic properties.
