Eczema or dermatitis is a (chronic) inflammation of the skin. Eczema is marked by itchy skin and crusty skin lesions. It is not known what exactly causes Eczema but an over-active immune system may at least be part of the cause.

Nav1.5 is a sodium channel that is primarily found in cardiac muscle where it is responsible for action potential generation/cardiac muscle contraction. Nav1.5 is not a classic cannabinoid receptor but its activity is modulated by cannabinoids.
